Le canal de Bourgogne a perdu trente centimètres de tirant d'eau en trente ans faute d'entretien, les péniches de commerce ne peuvent donc plus l'emprunter et les plaisanciers labourent en avancant. 242 km, 189 écluses, c'est le plus haut canal de France, un chef d'oeuvre de génie civil qui a un besoin urgent d'attentions.

The Burgundy canal in France has lost 30 centimetres of draft in 30 years due to lack of maintenance. Commercial barges cannot use it anymore, and leisure boats plough their way through. 242 km long, 189 locks, highest canal in France, it is a masterpiece of civil engineering which urgently needs attention.
